During my tenure as Britvic's Regional City Manager and Business Development Manager from July 2015 to April 2017, I spearheaded efforts to amplify Britvic’s brand visibility across Out of Home accounts. I cultivated synergistic partnerships with Partner Wholesalers (both National and Regional), key business executives, industry experts, and allied organizations, ensuring reciprocal support in terms of equipment provision, customer education, and point-of-sale materials.

 

To guarantee the achievement of our sales objectives, I provided leadership, training, and coordination to field marketing sales representatives across a variety of sales-driven campaigns.

 

My efforts resulted in surpassing annual sales goals, recording a 30% growth in both my first and second years in the role. I also led a groundbreaking six-month trial of the role in London, extracting valuable market insights that were instrumental in shaping the structure of the role. This initiative subsequently paved the way for a national rollout, leading to the establishment of eight City Manager positions across key regions.

 

In 2016, we strategically divided the team into two sets of eight City Managers each. One group concentrated on On-Trade accounts, while the other focused on Immediate Refreshments outlets, encompassing Convenience and Contract Catering sectors.
